Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) Skills Assessment
The in-home assessment is conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and includes parent/caregiver interviews, direct observation and testing, and data analysis. Information obtained from the assessment is used to develop an individualized behavior plan that specifically addresses the purpose of behaviors and skill level of the individual.
Structured and Individualized Behavior Plan
Each individual’s plan is designed in response to their identified needs. A comprehensive approach is used to develop prevention strategies, acquire skills and manage consequences. Plans are designed to be collaborative in nature. We consider family values and schedules in an effort to encourage consistent participation during plan execution.
Progress Monitoring Activities
Data is collected and analyzed throughout plan implementation. This ongoing analysis provides opportunities to determine the effectiveness of strategies implemented and identify the need for modifications to the behavior plan.

I’m a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. I’ve been working with families and kids with behavioral challenges for more than fifteen years. This field has been my life for a very long time, and it’s what I dedicate myself to everyday. I want to help parents learn the purpose of their child’s behavior so that they can create a connection with their child that lasts a lifetime. I’ve seen amazing results when parents use my approach that I call the “I CAN System”.
